Each plaque is 100% made in the USA by artist, Lynne Krestan from my original wood carvings. I make a mold of each carving and then reproduce them in cold cast copper. The plaques are then given a natural patina and individually sanded to bring out the beautiful copper highlights. Two eyehooks are added for hanging convenience indoors or out.
Each plaque includes a story booklet and copper wire for hanging

The Wind and the Sun
The popular fable of the Wind and the Sun’s challenge to each other “Who is strongest?” Although the Wind blusters and blows with all his might, it is the Sun’s “gentle persuasion” that proves to be more powerful.
Gentle Persuasion

The Fox and the Crane
This classic fable gently conveys the timeless message of The Golden Rule. “Treat others as you would like to be treated”.
The Golden Rule

The Greedy Dog
The Greedy Dog learns to “be grateful rather than greedy” when he tries to grab a bone from his own reflection. Dog lovers especially love this fable. It’s also a valuable reminder to everyone to appreciate what you already have.
Gratitude

The Thirsty Crow
The Thirsty Crow knows the only way to get a drink is by painstakingly dropping one stone after another into the vase until the water level rises enough for him to reach it.
Hard Work Pays Off

The Tortoise and the Hare (Hare)
Nearly everyone has heard the story of the race between the swift running Hare and the slow, but steadily plodding Tortoise. A beautiful way to inspire yourself or a child to keep working towards a goal.
