Simple Wisdom, Inc. has created a line of garden art with a message. Inspired by time-honored fables, each Garden Fable™ plaque is a uniquely crafted art piece.
- Each plaque is 100% made in the USA by artist, Lynne Krestan from my original wood carvings. I make a mold of each carving and then reproduces them in cold cast copper. The plaques are then given a natural patina and individually sanded to bring out the beautiful copper highlights. Two eyehooks are added for hanging convenience indoors or out.
- Each plaque includes a story booklet and copper wire for hanging
You could say the idea for the Simple Wisdom line of Garden Fables was planted in my brain when I was still in diapers, back in the “good ol’ days” before my family had a TV. Both my parents were avid readers and some of my fondest childhood memories are the times my mother and father would read to me. Although I still remember some of the stories, it was the fables that made the biggest impression.
